Exploring Costa Rica

We will fly in June 30th and we will be renting a car/van after we arrive in Liberia and driving to La Puerta del Sol Hotel on Coco Beach. Anyone traveling with us that arrives at a later flight will have to make arrangements to get to Coco Beach on their own. It is about an hours drive from Liberia.

Rooms at La Puerta del Sol www.hotellapuertadelsolcr.com are $80.00/p/nt dble occ. w/ breakfast. June 30 to Jully 1.

The beach part of our trip will be here with pristine sandy beaches and clear blue ocean water. You can snorkel, surf, kayak, or just lounge on the beach...

Drive to Rancho Margot for 3 nights (Mon, Tues Wed). The rates are reasonable for bunkhouses and bungalows. ($210-$310 total depending on bunkhouse or bungalow including meals and yoga) There is a lot to do near Rancho Margot. We'll be visiting some hot springs, skytrek, and taste some delicious local cuisine...

Rooms at Gingerbread Hotel are few and they have availability. www.gingerbreadarenal.com Rooms are 100.00/nt dble occ. w/ breakfast. We will stay here 2 nights. (Thur, Fri). Here, we will have views of the Arenal Volcano, fresh water lakes, and beautiful, tropical, rainforest foliage.
