Whitewater Kayaking Instruction & FUN!!

Come join us for a day of Whitewater Kayak instruction at the new waterpark built for kayaking with certified instructors and then we will kayak part of the San Marcos River.

Please read the event post on the calendar for August 31st.  ALL details are included there.  If you plan on coming for Saturday and Sunday or just one day please make that notation in your RSVP comments.

This is one of my favorite events - I hope everyone can join us!!

If possible arrive at the Power Olympic Outdoor Center Friday night for preliminary outfitting and instruction.

If you can't make it Friday night please come early Saturday (7:45am) to get outfitted.  We will be on the water first thing in the morning to get out on the river to have some fun!!

You will learn handling skills, balance, equipment and gear and so much more! Your instruction cost includes all gear for the lesson.

This class is for the absolute new beginner and experienced kayakers.  We will focus on beginning and advanced strokes, rolling, exits and some smaller rapids.  This is the day to get a good, solid foundation you will be able use for the remainder of your paddling career! 

We are getting an awesome rate of $95.00 per person instead of the normal $130.00 which includes instruction, kayak rental, paddle, helmet, life vest, and a shuttle. Bring lots of water, snacks and sunscreen.

You also want to bring some money as we will go out to lunch at a local establishment.

ALSO - Please bring $2.00 cash for the launch fee
