Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band is playing at The Woodlands Pavilion!  We are too grown up now to try and sneak into a concert so let's just paddle into the concert...

Before you sign up you need to know:

1.  I have never done this before so it might be tricky

2.  There is going to be a lot of carrying of boats, we won't be parked at the take out.

3.  It is going to be dark, paddling in the dark is different

4.  There will be no bathrooms.  The beach front where we will be is private property

5. This first time, probably is better if we have more experienced kayakers (see #3)

Okay, now that that is out of the way, this could be fun!

There's a cove across the lake from Northshore Park where we can paddle back to the end of it and hear the music from Pavilion concerts while sitting in our boats. 

Bigger, more comfortable boats will be better.  

Also, Northshore park closes at dark.  We will unload and launch from there but then will need to move vehicles and park them along the road/grass outside the gate to avoid getting locked in.  Not a huge issue, but at the end of the night the carry to the vehicles would be significantly longer.

Make sure and bring a comfortable boat, snacks, comfortable clothes and sit back and enjoy the show!  DON"T FORGET A LIGHT!!
