Kicking Horse River Raft Morning

Rambunctious rafting trip for the CANROCK 2012 Banff gang down the Kicking Horse river, just across the continental divide in Golden BC.
We'll rouse early Sunday, (sorry,) and van-pool out of the park westward into beautiful British Columbia and the hour and a half drive to Golden and the Kicking Horse River.
Hydra River Guides will provide all necessary gear, (wet suit, fleece, spray jacket, booties, life jacket, helmet and paddle, of course,) for this expertly guided float down mild to class 3 froth. Bring your bathing suit or other care-free attire, a towel, apres-trip dry clothing and water-proof bag for personal effects. The trip will take approx. 2 1/2 hrs, and includes BBQ lunch.
It's $122/person, with tax. Call Hydra directly at 1 (800) 644-8888 to book your spot. A photographer will be snapping shots, a CD of which will be available for and additional $32, ($25 if pre-ordered through Hydra. Ask when you call.)
We should be headed back to Banff by 1:00 or so, and may, if we're up for it, plan for a hike in that area too, which would perhaps mean we bring half-day hiking gear. TBA.
