Bayou City Outdoors is now a part of the American Outdoor Adventure Network. Below is a list of all Network clubs that you NOW have access to with your username and password information.
We will drop our cars at the Sabine Promenade at Buffalo Bayou Park.Bayou Shuttle www.bayoushuttle.com will pick us and our kayaks up at 11:00 (meet at 10:30 and shuttle will leave at 11:00 sharp) and take us to Woodway Memorial Park. It will be about a 3 hour trip back to our cars + the shuttle ride. There could be a few spots that we may have to portage so look out for snakes. Bayou Shuttle rents equipment if you want to take on the challenge. The shuttle cost is $15 per kayak and the person rides free. The rental rate is $45 for a single or $55 for a tandem. That includes the haul. Bring plenty of food and water and essentials. There aren't any restaurants or restrooms along the way that I know of.
