Tubing on the Guadalupe
Come and join us in the middle of September when we will take on the Guadalupe with our tubes!

 If you want to join us for a weekend of camping and tubing on Saturday- please RSVP here!

We will camp in New Braunfels at the River Road Camp (6365 River Road) on Friday and Saturday nights and we will head back on Sunday. This is about 3-4 hours by car from Houston. If yon need a carpool mention it in your RSVP, please!

I have a reserved spot at camp site #12 and they have many more spots available.
The plan is tubing on the river on Saturday and back to the campsite for some evening Social. If there is any interest I will cook burgers on the grill.

If you don't want to tube the area offers you many other activities - you can kayak, run, hike, or just hang in the campsite.

If you're interested in camping then call the park (link below) and make your reservations. If you're tent camping it will be cheaper if you share the site with other tenters (of course that is a word :)). Put a note in your comments that you would like to share a spot. If you would like to just come for the day to tube then meet at the camp around 9 AM Saturday morning and give me a call to let me know you're coming please.

The camp has showers and restrooms, and they also have a tube rental on site. There is a chance that the rental place on site could not be open that weekend if there are no crowds but the largest rental place just down the street will be open for sure. According to their website they also have a travel trailer for rent if anyone wants to go that route.
