25th Annual Sugar Land Finish Line Sports 30K
Sunday December 9 at 6:30am - Sugar Land Town Square
2012 Sugar Land Finish Line Sports 30K PART THREE of the Marathon Warmup Series, with start/finish at beautiful Sugar Land Town Square, Hwy 59 South at Hwy 6 South.
NOTE: 6:30am start. Part of the HARRA Fall Series. Certified, triple-loop beautiful Sweetwater Country Club course, with splits called each mile. Flat, fast PR-level course. Race benefits twelve different local charities. Water stations (with LOTS of loud volunteers) every two miles, with 3 portacans nearby. BVARC provides radio communication.
EMT medical personnel and HARRA volunteers on bikes provide plenty of medical protection. D-Tag timing with a 4:15 time limit, a 13:45 pace. Must be 12 years old or older to participate, same as Chevron Houston Marathon. 200 enthusiastic volunteers at our race.
Finisher's medal and long-sleeve tech shirt to each finisher. Thank you for entering. Sorry, NO RACEDAY packet pickup. Sorry, NO REFUNDS NOR TRANSFER of entries. NOTE: Headphones/Ipods are against safety rules due to single-lane, triple-loop, with several blind runners with guides entered. Raceday registration IS available for $80 at 5:45am next to Amegy Bank-Town Square. FIELD LIMIT is 1,500 runners, our capacity.
30K Entry Fees.
ONLY $50 EARLY FEE until August 31. $65 Sept 1-Nov 30. $70 Dec. 1-8. $80 Race Morning at 5:45am. Register online until Tues Dec 4 at 5pm. After that, in person at Finish Line Sports. Field Limit is 1,500. You can opt to have your race packet mailed for $8 until Nov 14. Packet Pickup at FLS on Dec 7-8 otherwise. DISCOUNTS of $5 OFF for current HARRA members and $10 OFF for ages 65+. 30K benefits TWELVE different local charities. Sorry, no refunds, no deferrals, no transfer of entries.
