BIG BEND RIVER TRIP

This is going to be a one-day river trip. The section of the river that we do is totally dependent on the water level. If the water level is high, we will get to raft all the way through the Santa Elena Canyon putting in at Lajitas, and taking out in the national park. A 21 mile float trip through 1500' -2200' canyon walls of amazing geology. This is one of my favorite places to revisit. It will be an all day trip.

If the water level is low, then we will get to canoe up river about 2 miles into Santa Elena Canyon and pick a spot near Fern Canyon to have lunch. Then possibly hike/boulder scramble into Fern Canyon. We will not know what we will be able to do until the very week of the trip. Regardless, we will touch the canyon.

The pricing is tiered based on final group size 48 hours before departure and is as follows:

4-7 guests $130/person

8-12 guests $125/person

Prices do not include sales tax @ 7.75% or gratuity.

Price includes shuttle to and from the river, lunch, guides, boats and equipment.

The trip is a bit pricey but it is worth it. The Rio Grande is a lazy river. These canyons are incredibly scenic making it hard to believe that you are still in Texas. The Big Bend area is such a treasure and it's in your back yard!
