Enjoy the beauty of the Colorado Rockies for seven days as BCO joins the Space City Ski Club (SCSC) trip to Steamboat Springs Colorado. Ski trips are always fun but this one will be a special treat for several reasons;
- We're celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the Steamboat Resort.
- Space City will have a total of 52 participants.
- We will be joining 8-9 other ski clubs participating in the Texas Ski Council (TSC) for a mega mountain ski experience.
Getting there is easy with BCO/Space City Ski Club!!
We have booked DIRECT flights from IAH to Hayden Airport, which is a quick and convenient 22-mile bus ride to the ski slopes. Want to use miles or drive, no problem. We have many land packages available.
Lodging – WOW. We’ve raised the bar for this ski trip as, once again, Space City returns to the luxurious ski-in Kutuk Condominiums.

Space City has strict quality guidelines when selecting properties. There must be at least one bathroom for every two people. Loft beds and sofas are not utlized in bedcount....the common area is for just that....for use by everyone so no camping out in the living rooms and sitting areas. Anyway, for this trip, we will have two bedroom and three bedroom condos. Generally a couple will be in the master bedroom and separate beds are in the other bedrooms. So, overall, no need to fret about bed sharing unless you want to.

TSC Ski Week Activities
We are planning plenty of activities so SCSC participants and TSC clubs can mix and mingle. The ski week events include:

- TSC Welcome Reception and Farewell Dinner–in Thunderhead Lodge at the top of the Gondola. Both functions promise plenty of good food, drink tickets and music.
- Club and individual NASTAR races .
- Discounted Lift Tickets with TSC pricing
- A mountain picnic lunch at Bashor Picnic Area (included). Non skiers have the option to take a snowshoe tour that stops at the picnic area for lunch.
- Exclusive TSC – Ski with an Olympian - Join Billy Kidd or one of the many other Steamboat Olympians for free pointers & runs down the mountain.
- Poker Pub Crawl
- Optional guided snow shoe tour with a Yampatika naturalist;
- Optional Strawberry Park Hot Springs trip.
- Daily - Complimentary mountain tour for intermediate ski/ snowboard participants
- Space City/BCO Condo dinner party

Additional Steamboat Activities
To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Steamboat Ski Resort is planning an amazing week filled with concerts, a torchlight parade, fireworks show, laser light show, vintage ski race, 1960’s fashion show & much more! The resort will be dazzling and shining!
For another unique adventure - just a few miles outside of town is the famous Straberry Park Natural Hot Springs.

It is open day or night, but relaxing under a beautiful starlit sky (hopefully!) is heavenly. I love this place!!!
