Program: Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat Minor, Op. 23 (Jennifer Oliver, soloist; Paul Kim, conductor); and Brahms - Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90.

You must ABSOLUTELY be at the hall by 7:00 pm to get your FREE, yes FREE, tickets to the show. Parking is right across from the Alice Pratt Brown Hall and costs $3.00 via credit card only. You can park for free behind the stadium through entrance #13A.

We are planning to go to eat after the show at 9:30 pm somewhere in the area. Dress is usually business casual but jeans are accepted as well.

- - - Remember - - - you must be at the Hall by 7:00 pm (NO LATER) to pickup your own tickets. These shows always sell out and people are left standing in the Hallways watching the performance on TV’s…..

Event Summary:

The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University has emphasized orchestral training as a central element in its performing curriculum. As the Shepherd School has grown and matured, so too has the orchestral program until it is now made up of a full Symphony Orchestra of one hundred-plus music students and a Chamber Orchestra made up of some thirty more music students.
