The Martindale Triathlon is reputed to be the oldest triathlon in the State of Texas. It begins with a 7 mile run that starts on FM 1979 at the entrance to Spencers Canoe and Shady Grove Campground. Next is a 16.5 mile bike loop course starting at finishing at Spencers/Shady Grove. The 5.5 mile canoe/kayak paddle follows the cycling segment and is the final event. The paddle follows the beautiful San Marcos River from the town of Martindale to the bridge in Staples.
Our event course is the same as the previous three years.
Run Distance 7 miles
Bike Distance 16.5 miles
Paddle Distance 5.5 miles
Fees: $50 per person

Note: There will be a $10 USAT fee that will be collected from each non-TCRA or non-USAT member on race day. All racers will need to fill out a USAT insurance/release form at race check-in. Only registrations received before October 22nd are guaranteed to receive the race shirt.
